We're proud of what we acheive at , but don't just take our word for it - here are some testimonials from real people who have joined our club:

Pam Rust:

"This Club has helped me a lot, especially with my rescue Rottweiler, Barney. It is very friendly and informative."

April:

"I have been attending Training Club for the past year with my two-year-old male Rottweiler. As a Dog Warden and Rep for the Rottweiler Welfare Association, I believe it is imperative that Rottweilers undergo training in a Club environment for at least two years and have been very impressed by the training methods, kind approach and sense of humour displayed by the trainers and club in general. Other breeds of dogs are of course welcom at but it is particularly welcome to belong to a club that understands the particular problems that the owners of large working breeds encounter. The club runs the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme which concentrates on training dogs to become socially acceptable and well-mannered pets. The pass rate at is extremely high and both my dog and I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part. I will continue to recommend this club both to the new owners of 'welfare' Rottweilers and owners of new puppies and adult dogs alike and look forward to beginning the Bronze level of the Good Citizen scheme with my new puppy in due course."

Mrs. S. Corti:

"We tried several expensive behaviourists for help with Darwin, our lovable-but-wilful Bernese Mountain Dog, before being recommended by our vet. Now Darwin is a well-behaved member of our family and well on his way to gaining his Silver Good Citizen Award!"

Mark Eaton:

"Friendly environment, well run, fun and structured training. Well worth a night out."

Di McCann,
Parvenu Rottweilers:

"Julie and her team have worked hard to get this Club off the ground. It was originally a training club just for Rottweilers (they own three of mine!), but they were persuaded to open their doors to all breeds, and now they have a waiting list of dogs recommended to them by vets and other clubs in the area. Their enthusiasm for all dogs and their kind approach to training using positive, reward-based methods speaks for itself by the number of dogs who gain "passes" through the Kennel Club's Good Citizen dog scheme. I wish them continued success."

Andy,
with Zola:

"I have been coming to the club since October 2007. Like with most things in life there aren't many 'quick fixes'. The encouragement I have received has been second to none. I feel I am starting to get somewhere. Oh, and my Rottie (Zola) comes too. Shame I'm not as bright and quick to teach as Zola. We (me and Zola) are more able to communicate with one another now. I see now that training is largely about the timing of commands and rewards. One day I will get there.

Although I am a 'bit biased' towards Rotties, it is great to see all sorts of dogs coming to the classes because Zola is able to be trained alongside smaller and bigger dogs, as she finds in the outside world."

Lynsey,
with Harvey:

"Coming to these training sessions has given me more confidence in handling my dog."
